The Right Stuff:

The ideal candidate: 

  • Certification in wastewater treatment processes

  • Hands on experience with wastewater treatment systems and processes

  • Experience with chemical titration sampling including documentation and reporting of results.

  • Very detailed oriented

  • Strong technical & trouble shooting ability

Job Responsibilities



Job Requirements

Technicians perform routine activities and maintenance specifically related to semi-automated processes that clean and prepare fabricated wire parts for final powder coating.   This semi-automated process includes monitoring of fabricated parts as they travel through spray cleaning and rinsing processes, zinc application dip process and drying process. 

Technicians also monitor and make adjustments to the wastewater treatment system and ensures that water which is to be released meets city and state permitting / environmental requirements.

The following are required for our Technicians:

  • High School diploma or specialized related education

  • Current or prior certification in wastewater treatment

  • Cognitive ability to understand, pass and maintain requisite certification

  • 1 + year experience in a similar role – requiring wastewater treatment

  • Cognitive ability to read and understand SOP’s, manuals, gauges, logs, etc.

  • Prior experience in chemical handling and sampling titrations

  • Ability to document samplings and visual checks at required intervals – without fail.

  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and work safely with required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

In addition, Wastewater Treatment Technicians will have strong ability to works independently and be a self-starter.  They will be required to consistently make good decisions and exercise good judgement.

 

Technicians will have strong maintenance and troubleshooting skills – pumps, motors, etc.

Must be willing to work overtime, possible multiple shifts and demonstrate attendance dependability.
